Teacher allegedly murdered by armed robbers

Kumasi, Sept. 11, GNA - Prince Sarbah 39, a tutor of Esase-Bontefufuo Senior High School (SHS) in Amansie West District of Ashanti Region, was on Wednesday allegedly murdered in cold blood at Patasi, a suburb of Kumasi by some suspected armed robbers. The deceased was shot several times in the chest and lower abdomen and died instantly while the armed robbers bolted with his Toyota Corolla saloon car with registration number AS 3303 T. Police Inspector Mohammed Yussif Tanko, of Public Relations Unit of Ashanti Regional Police Command, told Ghana News Agency that the incident occurred at about 2200 hours on Wednesday. He said the deceased who was then driving was suspected to have been trailed by the armed robbers who shot him before taking his vehicle from him.
