Bolgatanga, Jan 23, GNA- A four-day Trainer of Trainers workshop for 18 teachers drawn from second cycle schools under the National Volunteer Programme (NVP) in the Upper East Region has ended in Bolgatanga.
The workshop is being organised by the Volunteer Services Organisation (VSO) in collaboration with the National Service Scheme (NSS).
Mr Gerald Witham, leader of the training team, lauded his Ghanaian counterparts for their commitment to ensuring that the programme is successful.
Mr. Edward Asakeya, Bolgatanga Municipal Director of Education, said the training would enable the teachers to give of their best and ensure that the region benefits from effective education delivery. Sixteen head teachers have also ended a 10-day workshop on the Whole School Development Programme (WSD).
