Developments to the upcoming parliamentary primaries in the Tema East NDC promise to be a very competitive one as Eben Anuwa-Amarh (Eben Tee), a native of Tema and one of the aspiring candidates is highly tipped by majority of the delegates to win the primaries.
This has sent shocking waves into the spines of the Tema Metropolitan Chief Executive, Hon. Kempes Ofosuware as he prepares to pick nomination forms in the second week in September to contest the primaries. Hon. Kempes’s camp from our sources in Tema is shaken by the fact that Eben Tee has taken over the popularity on the grounds.
Due to the fear and illness that has gripped the camp of the TMA Boss; it has come to our notice that the camp of the TMA Boss has employed Machiavellian tactics to intimidate and subdue members of the camp of Eben Tee. Additionally, it has been proven that the MCE’s boy Mr. Stephen Ashitey Adjei (Mo-Shake) who keeps deceiving the Ghanaian public and impersonates himself as a former Parliamentary Candidate for the Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) in the 2008 elections did not in any capacity contest in the 2008 elections. One is left with no thought than to wonder why the TMA Boss will associate himself with an incredible person and impersonator. Is the TMA Boss himself a like-person? From our sources in Tema, Mr. Stephen Nii Ashitey Adjei, the TMA Boss’s boy has been threatening supporters of Mr. Eben Tee for liberal comments they make on the developing issues in the upcoming parliamentary elections. These threats took a different turn when Hon. Kempes Ofosuware’s camp physically and directly call the parents of individuals within Eben Tee’s camp to put fear in the parents to desist their wards from campaigning for Eben Tee by giving threats of beating their children and taking court actions against them.
One wonders why exchange of words and ideas in the upcoming primaries should warrant threatening court actions and all. This development alleged to have been instigated by the Tema Metro Chief, Hon Kempes is alien to The National Democratic Congress (NDC). The question we therefore ask is, is Hon. Kempes a true member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC)?
Mr. Ashitey Adjei a.k.a Moshake, a staunch DFP member doing the bidding for the Tema Mayor has been alleged to be going round people’s houses threatening them for court actions whenever they speak against the Tema Mayor. One currently wonders how suddenly Hon. Kempes Ofosuware has metamorphosed into a demigod to the extent that you don’t even have to whisper his name. Politicians are to serve and not to Lord over their electorates or citizens. We are waiting to find out what happens after the primaries are over and all hands are needed on board to execute the 2012 agenda of His Excellency President John Evans Atta Mills by winning the 2012 General Elections. Will Mr. Kempes and his cohorts be willing to come on board after Mr. Eben Tee wins the primaries? What happens to those he threatens now and how would that affect the fortunes of the NDC in the 2012 elections?
The Tein Propaganda Secretary of the Cape Coast Polytechnic, Mr. Theophilus Kugblenu has been alleged to have been served with summons by a High Court. Mr. Ashitey (Mo-Shake) accompanied by one officer were seen combing the whole township with the summons letter from the High Court. The relationship between Hon. Kempes and the people of Tema especially majority of the NDC members have grown sour since he has deliberately decided to persecute everybody including his own NDC people.
Many NDC guys and majority of the Tema community folks have pledged to be at the court premises in their numbers and to give their full support and assurance to Mr. Theophilus Kugblenu, the Cape Coast Polytechnic NDC Tein Propaganda Secretary. However, there are all indications pointing to the fact that, the Tema Metropolitan Chief Executive, Hon. Kempes Ofosuware is on the way to committing his own political suicide. Interesting times ahead!!!
