Togbega Gabusu calls for investment in Gbi

Hohoe, April 25, GNA - Togbega Gabusu the VI, Paramount Chief of Gbi Traditional Area, has urged citizens of Gbidzigbe (Hohoe) and Gbinyigbe (Peki) and other business entities to invest and patronize the Gbi Rural Bank.

He said the social and economic development of any nation, region or traditional area depended on the efforts of the people and therefore urged the citizens to make the bank to succeed.

Togbega Gabusu, a patron of the new community bank who spoke to the Ghana News Agency in an interview, urged the people to buy more share and increase their savings in order to beef up the capital of the bank.

He appealed to the people to cultivate the culture of savings. Mr. Kwame Dzotsi, Manager of the bank, said its operations would cover agribusiness, manufacturing, services, trade associations and consumer credit financing.
