The first batch comprised 19 police officers, who took the Diploma in Leadership and Management, while the second and third batches, consisting of 37 police officers obtained certificates in Public Administration while the fourth batch of 23 officers obtained certificate in Administration and Management.

The officers would undertake courses such as introduction to Human Resource, Introduction to Organizational Behaviour, Introduction to Budgeting and Financial Management, Strategic thinking Policy Formulation and Analysis, Principles of Management, Police Administration and Basic Statistics.

Prof Bonsu said the Institute prides itself in excellence and quality education and urged the officers work hard ahead of the training and put into practice the knowledge and skills acquired to strengthen the peace and security of Liberia.

Mr Varmuyan Kamara, Leader of the Liberia Police Officers, commended GIMPA and UN for organizing the programme and pledged their support to observe the rules and regulations of the Institute.
