Two persons are feared dead in a gory accident at Anaji Yahowa Naye, a community along the Nkroful to Takoradi highway with three in critical condition.
The accident occurred on Sunday, May 19, 2019, around 10 am.
According to Ama Boadiwa Morcher of Beach FM, the driver of the white Pontiac Vibe car with registration number GR 3020-14 was moving from Anaji heading towards Nkroful when he veered off and crossed over to the other side of the road.
He collided with the Taxi with registration number CR 1888-13 which was also heading towards Anaji from Nkroful direction.
"It took road users and passers-by close to 40 minutes to recused the helpless Taxi driver from his Taxi", she reported.
She confirmed to Daniel Kaku that a daughter of the Taxi driver who was in the car and the driver of the Pontiac Vibe car identified as Nathaniel Hammond who is also a worker at Orsam passed away on arrival at the hospital.
Meanwhile, the Taxi driver and his other child who was at the back seat of the his car together with another lady who was sitting in the white Pontiac Vibe car are currently responding to treating at the Effia Nkwanta Regional Hospital.
The two vehicles involved in the accident have been moved from the road.
The private car is at Kwesimintsim Police Station and the taxi is at Anaji Police Station.
The Police has however commenced investigations into the incident.
The two deceased have since been deposited at the Effia Nkwanta Regional Hospital morgue for autopsy.
