Two motor riders have died on the spot after a head-on collision at Konongo in the Asante Akim Central Municipality of the Ashanti Region.
According to a police situational report sighted by MyNewsGh.com, 30-year-old Iddrisu Awudu was riding an unregistered Haojin motorbike from Konongo Township towards the low-cost area. Upon reaching a section of the road in front of FRANBENY PUB along the Konongo-Agogo highway, he collided head-on with another rider.
The second rider, identified as 33-year-old Kwaku Osei, was also traveling from the low-cost area towards Konongo Town.
Both riders died on the spot, and their bodies were conveyed to the Konongo Central Municipal Hospital for preservation, identification, and autopsy.
