Unity International school cries for help

Akim Asamamah(E/R), July 9, GNA- Parents have been called upon to show much concern about the education of their wards since any neglect by them would promote indiscipline in the society. Madam Vida Amponsah, the Proprietress of the Unity International School at Akim Asamamah in the East Akim District, made the call when she addressed the Parents Teacher Association meeting on Tuesday.

Akim Asamamah(E/R), July 9, GNA- Parents have been called upon to show much concern about the education of their wards since any neglect by them would promote indiscipline in the society. Madam Vida Amponsah, the Proprietress of the Unity International School at Akim Asamamah in the East Akim District, made the call when she addressed the Parents Teacher Association meeting on Tuesday.
She mentioned some of the problems facing the school as poor payment of fees, lack of furniture, text books, poor enrolment and appealed to parents to come together and help find solutions to them. The PTA Chairman, Mr John Boafo, appealed to parents to co-operate with teachers to provide quality education for their wards.
