Winneba (C/R), April 13, GNA - Nine musical bands on Saturday night entertained a large crowd of students and some public personalities at a 'Golden Ghana' Concert organised by the Students Representative Council (SRC) of the University of Education, Winneba. The concerned, held at the Winneba Liberation Square, formed part of activities marking the SRC week. The performing artistes were MC Tontoh, Kwabena Kwabena, Kwow Kesse, Cindy-Ampong-Isaac, Ramblers International, Wulomei, DJ Oware Junior, Suzzie $ Matt and the Winneba Youth Choir. They treated the audience to Reggae, Jazz, Funk, Hip-life and Gospels.

The stage was electrified when Cindy Thompson's gospel group stormed the flour with one of her latest releases titled "Awurade Kae me", drawing a greater part of the audience to their feet to dance. Speaking to the Ghana News Agency in an interview, the President of the SRC, Mrs. Pearl Akua Agyemang, said the Concert was to relax the minds of students having gone through strenuous academic work.
