Residents of Sekondi -Takoradi in the Western Region have for almost three months been battling with water shortage.
This has badly affected homes, educational institutions and businesses which depend on the Ghana Water Company Limited for potable water supply.
While some residents complain they have no water running through their taps, others have intermittent flow but mostly after midnight.
This forces them to stay awake throughout the night in order to store as much as possible.
Meanwhile, the Ghana Water Company has appealed to the public to stop influencing its staff who come to their homes to read metres or check faults.
Director of Communications, Stanley Martey, who made the appeal in an interview with Radio Ghana, pleaded with the public to report pipe bursts in their communities to the Company for repairs.
