The wives of soldiers at the Takoradi Airforce Base in the Western Region, have described their husbands as most wonderful spouses in the world considering the love and care they show towards them.
They told the Ghana News Agency on Saturday during a fundraising ceremony that, their husbands offer them adequate protection and perform well in all aspects of marriage life.
Mrs Dorcas Moon, the “Magajia” (leader) of Air Wives Organisation (AWO), said wives of the soldiers respect their husbands and perform their marriage responsibilities with utmost care and patience therefore their husbands love and cherish them.
She said often times, the organisation invites resource persons from different backgrounds and professions to teach them home management, table manners, employable skills such as batik, tie and dye, soap-making, interior and external decorations as well as other aspects of life that spice up their marriages.
Mrs Patience Koranteng, Secretary of AWO, added that marrying a military man is a good experience because it provides an opportunity for learning a lot about the Military which is hinged on discipline, faithfulness, loyalty and being prayerful.
She said wives of the soldiers pray fervently for their husbands for God’s guidance and protection when they are on peacekeeping operations.
The organisation has plans of soliciting for support from corporate entities in order to support orphanages and inmates at the prisons in December.
