In a remarkable demonstration of environmental stewardship and community spirit, over 70 participants from various youth and student organizations came together for a tree-planting project aimed at enhancing climate resilience in the Upper West Region of Ghana.
The initiative was spearheaded by the Campus Climate Ambassadors Network (Ubids), SDD-UBIDSS Youth Parliament, Rural-Urban Salvage Network, Public Policy and Governance Students Association of Ghana, and Youth-NRGE.
The event took place along the main roads of the Simon Diedong Dombo University of Business and Integrated Development Studies (SDD-UBIDS) campus, where enthusiastic volunteers planted numerous trees to create a greener and more sustainable environment.
This collaborative effort underscores the growing awareness and commitment among the youth towards combating climate change and promoting environmental sustainability.
