The Member of Parliament for Salaga South Constituency, Zuwera Mohammed, has demonstrated her commitment to compassion and inclusivity by celebrating Christmas with inmates of the Salaga Prisons and patients on admission at the Salaga Municipal Hospital.

As part of her annual New Year's Christmas activities, the MP donated packed takeaway food, assorted drinks, and mineral water to both the prison inmates and hospital inpatients.

This charitable gesture has become a yearly tradition for Hajia Zuwera, aimed at sharing love and hope with the less privileged during the festive season.

The presentation was carried out on behalf of the MP by constituency executives led by the Zongo Caucus Coordinator, Sumaila Ibn Hafiz.

Speaking during the presentation, Hafiz explained that the MP is motivated by Christian teachings that encourage generosity, kindness, and support for the needy, especially during celebrations such as Christmas.

Receiving the items at the Salaga Prisons Service, DSP Opare, on behalf of the inmates, commended Hajia Zuwera for her continuous support and benevolence towards the prison service and its inmates.

At the Salaga Municipal Hospital, the donation was received by Madam Rafia, the nurse in charge of the maternity ward, who expressed gratitude to the MP and her team for remembering patients during the festive season.

Both the prison inmates and hospital patients expressed their appreciation to Hajia Zuwera Mohammed Ibrahimah for the kind gesture and offered prayers for Allah’s continued guidance and blessings upon her life and leadership.
