Renowned road contractor Kofi Gyebi Job and his wife, Esther Gyebi, have saved the life of a young cancer patient, Saviour Agyei, with a GH¢80,000 donation for medical treatment.

The child, diagnosed with leukaemia, a cancer of the blood, was on the emergency list at Kumasi South Hospital in the Ashanti Region. Unable to afford the treatment, Saviour’s family was left helpless.

Upon learning of the situation, the couple, through the Kofi Job Foundation, stepped in to cover the full cost of treatment. Thanks to their support, Saviour has undergone a series of procedures and has now moved from critical condition to stable.

During a visit to the hospital on Monday, January 12, 2026, the Foundation’s Public Relations Officer, Kwame Agyenim Boateng, met with Saviour’s mother, Juliana Gyebi, who expressed deep gratitude.

“On the first day of our visit, we needed GH¢5,000 for scans, medicine, and other expenses. I had nothing and felt I was going to lose my precious daughter,” she said.

“Thanks to Kofi Gyebi Job and his wife, they generously donated this huge amount, a sum I never thought I'd see in my lifetime.”

Pediatric Oncologist Dr Alimatu Salam confirmed Saviour’s critical condition before the intervention.

“After the Kofi Job Foundation's donation, her treatment has progressed smoothly, and her health has improved significantly,” she said, praising the couple’s life-saving gesture.
