A group called Friends of Bawumia - UK branch(FOB UK), has congratulated the former Vice President and NPP 2024 flagbearer, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia on his victory in the just ended NPP presidential primaries.
In a statement written to the victor and copied to GhanaWeb, the group describes his commanding victory as a good sign and
attestation to his visionary and inspiring leadership, his impeccable character, commitment and loyalty to the ideals and values of the NPP party.
In a statement signed by the group's coordinator, Dr Eric Adjei Yeboah, they further pledge a full support for his candidacy and promise to work tiressly with him until he emerges victorious in the 2028 general election to become Ghana's President.
"We acknowledge that the contest was gruelling and your decisive victory on Saturday, January 31, is a clear attestation to your visionary and inspiring leadership, your impeccable character, and your loyalty and commitment to the ideals and values of our great party.
"We Friends Of Bawumia UK (FOB UK), pledge to continue to walk with you as you lead the NPP in a new phase of party unity and strategizing for our eventual victory in the 2028 general elections". Part of the statement said.
