Two dead, one seriously injured after motorbike collision at Beposo

A gory accident at Dwansa Junction in the Sekyere Central District of the Ashanti Region has claimed two lives, with one other person in critical condition.

The head-on collision involved two motorcycles, one traveling at top speed from the Beposo area and the other carrying two passengers from Nsuta

The unfortunate incident occurred around 5:00 pm. on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, claimed at the spot, with one seriously injured

The motorbikes were destroyed beyond recognition due to the level of damage

Assembly Member for Beposo East Electoral Area, Samuel Kodua, says the motorbike that was traveling from the Beposo to Nsuta area veered into the lane of the oncoming motorbike from Nsuta, causing the tragedy.

“The rider of the motorbike from Beposo to Nsuta died at the spot, and one of the two guys who were traveling from Nsuta died on arrival at the hospital, leaving the other critically injured. Both motorcycles were damaged beyond recognition,” he stated.

He observed that this is not the first time such an accident occurred on the road stretch from Beposo to Mampong since it was reconstructed.
