The Member of Parliament for the Salaga South Constituency, Hajia Zuwera Ibrahimah, has extended a heartfelt solidarity message to women in Ghana and across the world on the occasion of International Women’s Day.

In her message, Hajia Zuwera celebrated the remarkable contributions of women to society, acknowledging their strength, resilience and dedication to national and global development.

She emphasised her commitment to advocating women’s empowerment, education, and economic opportunities, stressing the need to build a more inclusive and equitable society.

“Today, we celebrate the strength, resilience and contributions of women to our societies. We acknowledge the progress made towards gender equality, but also recognise the challenges that still exist,” she said.

The MP urged women to continue pushing boundaries and breaking barriers, while affirming their value and potential.

“You are valued, you are strong, and you are capable of greatness,” she declared.
