The Volta Parliamentary Caucus has expressed appreciation to Dr Gabriel Tanko Kwamigah-Atokple, the Council of State representative for the Volta Region, for his financial support towards a recent retreat organised for Members of Parliament from the region.
In a letter dated February 13, 2026, the caucus acknowledged the support provided by Dr Kwamigah-Atokple, noting that it played a crucial role in the successful organisation of the programme.
According to the caucus, the retreat brought together MPs from the Volta Region serving in the 9th Parliament of the Republic of Ghana to reflect on their work and assess their performance as representatives of the people.
The programme also offered the MPs an opportunity to inspect some ongoing government projects across the region as part of efforts to monitor development and strengthen their oversight responsibilities.
“The programme was very successful, and it offered us the opportunity to inspect some ongoing government projects across the region,” the letter noted.
The caucus further emphasised that the retreat would not have been possible without the financial assistance from the Council of State member.
“On behalf of the Chairman of the Caucus, and on behalf of the entire membership of the Caucus, I wish to extend our profound gratitude to you for your continuous support to the Caucus,” the letter stated.
It added that the MPs pray for God’s continued blessings and strength for Dr Kwamigah-Atokple in all his endeavours.
The letter was signed by Peter Nortsu-Kotoe, Member of Parliament and Secretary of the Volta MPs Caucus.
