Richard Ofori-Agyeman Boadi is the Mayor of the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly
Richard Ofori-Agyeman Boadi, the Chief Executive of the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly, on behalf of the Ashanti Regional Minister, has appealed to the Muslim community to stay pure, peaceful, and work diligently for the good of the region and beyond.
Speaking at a prayer session to mark this year’s Eid-ul-Fitr at Kumasi Central Mosque, he urged Muslims to remain righteous, peace-loving, focused, and spirit-led in their endeavors after the 30 days of fasting.
The celebration was graced by Baffour Kogyawoasu Ababio, Otumfuo Sumankwahene, a representative of Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, Asantehene, heads of security services, heads of government institutions, and zongo chiefs in the region.
Shaikh Zakaria Abdul Rahman, the Ashanti Regional Chief Imam, congratulated Muslims on a successful Ramadan, hoping that their supplications before God (Allah) would be heard and granted.
He prayed for the good of the region and Ghana and added his voice to calls for Muslims to live with good examples in society.
