KGL Group pays GH¢153 million corporate tax to GRA

Lead sponsor of the World Meets in Ghana Executive Dinner Ball, KGL Group, has once again reinforced its reputation for tax compliance by presenting GH¢153 million in corporate income tax to the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA).

Speaking at the presentation ceremony in Accra on Thursday, April 16, 2026, the Executive Chairman of KGL Group, Alex Apau Dadey, emphasised that the company views tax payment as a way of giving back to the nation.

“At KGL Group, we create value, and we share that value responsibly. Paying tax is not a burden; it is our contribution from what we have achieved as a business operating in this country. It is how we give back to the community that makes our success possible,” he stated.

He added, “In 2025 alone, we made a total of GH¢350 million in direct payments to the state, out of which GH¢180 million was remitted to the National Lottery Authority (NLA). These are responsibilities we take seriously and wholeheartedly embrace.”
