The Member of Parliament for Bekwai Constituency, Ralph Poku-Adusei, has held discussions with executives of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and indigenes of Bekwai living in Toronto, Canada.

The engagement formed part of the MP’s ongoing visit to Canada, where he also participated in a parliamentary capacity-building programme in Gatineau.

In a statement on his Facebook page, Poku-Adusei described the meeting as fruitful and insightful. He noted that the discussions focused on building unity, strengthening collective vision, and exploring ideas to drive development in the Bekwai Constituency.

“We will continue to share ideas on matters of development to ensure our constituency becomes self-sufficient and prosperous for all,” the MP said.

He expressed appreciation to leaders of the party and the Ghanaian community in Toronto who coordinated the engagement, describing their efforts as instrumental to the success of the dialogue.

The Bekwai MP emphasised the importance of diaspora engagement in the constituency’s development agenda, stating that “together we move forward.”

The meeting was strategic for Poku-Adusei to strengthen ties with his constituents in the diaspora and harness their input and support for local development.
