Madam Agnes Nimo Toku, the late wife of NDC Western Regional Chairman
Executives and grassroots of the National Democratic Congress, Ellembelle Constituency, have expressed deep shock and sorrow following the passing of the wife of NDC Western Regional Chairman, Nana Toku.
In a condolence message issued by Constituency Secretary Joseph Agyekum, the party said it received the news “with profound shock and deep sorrow.”
“On behalf of the National Democratic Congress executives and grassroots in the Ellembelle Constituency, I extend our deepest and most heartfelt condolences to you, your children, and the entire family,” the statement read.
The party acknowledged the pain of losing a devoted wife and pillar of strength.
“We can only imagine the unbearable pain and void this tremendous loss has created in your life. Losing a devoted wife and a pillar of strength is one of life’s most difficult trials,” Agyekum stated.
The Ellembelle NDC assured the Regional Chairman of its solidarity.
“The entire Ellembelle NDC family stands shoulder-to-shoulder with you during this dark and challenging moment. Your immense dedication, sacrifices, and leadership for our party in the Western Region have always been a source of inspiration to us,” the statement added.
The party prayed for divine comfort.
“We pray that the Almighty God grants you the supernatural strength, comfort, and fortitude to bear this irreparable loss. May her gentle soul rest in perfect peace, and may her beautiful legacy bring solace to your heart,” the message concluded.
Chairman Nana Toku is widely respected for his commitment to building the NDC across the Western Region.
The late Agnes Nimo Toku, affectionately called “Aunty Attaa,” passed away after a short illness on Saturday, June 13, 2026. Her one-week observation will be held at the Awudua Community Center on Friday, June 19, 2026.
