Mary says she has been single for over two years
A Ghanaian woman identified as Mary has taken to live radio in a bold search for a husband, opening up about her single life after spending years away from relationships.
Speaking on Ahenfie Media with Oheneni Adazoa on June 22, 2026, Mary disclosed that she has been single for more than two years and is now actively seeking a partner to settle down with.
She added that she is open to dating men aged 40 and above.
When asked about the kind of man she hopes to marry, Mary said she would prefer someone living abroad rather than in Ghana.
Mary explained that her decision to remain single over the past few years was shaped by a previous relationship experience. She said she withdrew from relationships and rejected several proposals during that period but now feels she is getting older and is ready to settle down with a partner.
“Because of what my ex-lover did to me, I stayed away from relationships for a while. During that period, I turned down every proposal that came my way. But now I’ve realised I’m getting older, and I want to settle down with a partner,” she said.
She further noted that she is open to men from different parts of the world, including the UK, Canada, and the United States, among others, but excludes Dubai and Qatar.
Mary also disclosed that she has two children and would not mind marrying a man who also has children, adding that she is willing to accept and care for them as her own.
