Okada rider dies in accident during funeral display at Offinso

An Okada rider believed to be 19 years old has reportedly died in an accident while displaying his motorcycle-riding skills at the funeral of a colleague at Offinso in the Ashanti Region.

According to eyewitnesses, the deceased collided with a KIA Rhino while performing motorcycle stunts during the funeral.

An eyewitness who spoke to OTEC News said the incident occurred in the late hours of Wednesday, August 19, 2026.

The body of the deceased has since been conveyed to a morgue by the police, while investigations are ongoing to establish his identity.

The family of the deceased is yet to be identified and formally informed about the incident to facilitate the identification and release of the body.
