The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, has supported 2,269 newly admitted Senior High School (SHS) students from the North Tongu constituency with essential educational and personal supplies.

Ablakwa, announcing the initiative in a Facebook post on Saturday, September 12, 2026, said the annual donation was intended to ensure that no student was left behind as they began their secondary education.

“My annual donations to all freshly admitted SHS students from my beloved North Tongu has been a resounding success today,” he stated.

Each of the 2,269 students received a chop box, mattress and exercise books as part of the package.

The initiative also provided hygiene products, including tissues and sanitary pads, to all female beneficiaries.

He urged the beneficiaries to take advantage of the support and excel in their education.

“Go make us proud,” he stressed.
