Akuapem landowners, chiefs highlight jobs and development under real estate project

Allodial landowners and traditional authorities in Aburi Amanfrom (Atwapim) and surrounding communities have expressed strong support for Royal Kingdom Estate’s development, highlighting its contribution to job creation, infrastructure development and economic activity in the area.

Speaking at a press engagement, the traditional leaders said the multi-million-cedi project presented an opportunity to transform Aburi Amanfrom and its surrounding communities into a modern urban centre.

Adeyhe Hene I, Kwadwo Anoff, said Royal Kingdom Estate had followed the required processes before commencing the development.

According to him, affected farm and land owners were duly compensated after official announcements were made in the community.

“Every single land and farm owner was duly settled with huge sums of money as compensation by Royal Kingdom Estate. Official announcements were made, and everyone was compensated,” he said.

He said the development was creating employment opportunities for young people while supporting infrastructure growth in the community.

Abusua Panyin Seth Adu Abu Ansah of Aburi Amanfrom (Atwapim) also commended the project, saying its activities were contributing to the development of the area.

“We are appealing to the IGP and security agencies to protect the operations of Royal Kingdom Estate. The company is transforming our community, providing youth employment, and giving back through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives,” he said.

The landowners and elders said the investment by Royal Kingdom Estate represented an opportunity to accelerate development in Aburi Amanfrom and its surrounding communities.

They urged community members and other stakeholders to support initiatives that create jobs, improve infrastructure and contribute to the long-term development of the area.

Among those present at the engagement were Abrewatia Afia Dede and Elder Nana Nkosuo Hene of Otopa Krom, together with other community elders.
