We are grateful to foreign donors-Nkoranzahene

Nkoranza(B/A), July 19,GNA - Okatakyie Agyemang Kudom IV, Omanhene o= f Nkoranza, has commended foreign donor agencies as well as philanthropists for their invaluable role in supporting the government in the development o= f the country.

He stressed that Ghanaians owed great gratitude to such donors as thei= r immense contributions had brought remarkable improvement in the living standards of the people.

Okatakyie Agyemang Kudom had hosted Mr. Jacob Andreas Verhaegen, a Netherlands Senior Expert in professional and technical management, in his palace in Nkoranza.

Mr. Verhaegen, a member of the Programme Outstanding Managers, a non-profit organisation in the Netherlands, is on a visit to offer technica= l advice to the management of Ask God Alone Enterprise Printing Press at Nkoranza in Brong=96Ahafo.

The foreign organisation aims at creating employment opportunities through the development of private sector industries to combat poverty and the technical advice by its senior experts will help enhance the capacity o= f workers. Okatakyie Agyemang Kudom acknowledged the important roles and efforts of donor agencies and philanthropists in providing water and sanitation facilities, as well as education, health and agricultural facilities in the country.

The paramount chief praised Mr. Verhaegen for the visit in support of the development of Nkoranza.

He wished him God's blessings and success in all his future endeavou= rs to ensure the growth of his organisation so it would continue to support more countries. Okatakyie Agyemang Kudom was also appreciative of the efforts of Mr. Johnson Gyimah, Director of Ask God Alone Enterprise Printing Press, for establishing the industry at Nkoranza to create job opportunities for unemployed youths. During a courtesy call on him, the Nkoranza South District Chief Executive, Mr. Emmanuel Kwadwo Agyekum, urged Mr. Verhaegen to pay a second visit to ensure the accelerated development of the industry.
