Police Woman Constable emerged best recruit

Police Woman (PW) Constable, Esther Aku-Tawiah Addo, emerged the overall best recruit after undergoing six months Basic Police Training in the Central Region Police Training School in Winneba.

She was among 381 others who were recruited into the Ghana Police Service on 23rd September, 2012, who went through disciplines including human rights, English language, ethics of policing and criminal laws.

At the end of the training, PW Constable Aku-Tawiah Addo proved to be very hard working, intelligent and exhibited good conduct in all aspects of the training process.

She polled 1,344 marks out a total of 1,505 marks to be adjudged the best recruit.

She was given a citation and baton of honour by the Ghana Police Service in respect of her achievement.

Miss Aku-Tawiah Addo was born on June 17, 1984 at Nungua in the Greater Accra Region to Mr and Mrs Addo.

She began her basic education at Wajir Barracks “A” School in 1994 where she obtained Basic Education Certificate. PW Constable Miss Aku-Tawiah Addo later had admission to Wesley Girls High School and came out successfully in 2000.
