Reverend Asante Mensah, Minister in-charge of Kwatire Presbyterian Church of Ghana (PCG) has urged the youth in the church to exhibit Christian virtues to win souls for Jesus Christ.

He said peace, joy, kindness, humility, self-control, goodness and faithfulness were important Christian virtues that could convert more souls to Jesus Christ.

Rev. Mensah made the call at the thanksgiving service to climax a three-day Second District Conference of the Young Adult Fellowship (YAF) of the church at Odomase in the Brong Ahafo Region.

It was on the theme: “The Fruit of the Holy Spirit And the Believer – The Role Of The Young Adult In The Church”.

He noted that the youth were the main pillars of the Church in terms of growth and development, and stressed the need for them to pray unceasingly for the progress of the Church and its leaders.

Mr. Ben Atsutse, a Presbyter of the Church, speaking on the topic: “Managing Your Finances” said from age 30, one has to develop concern for future goals, including management of family and other socio-economic activities.

Mr. Moses Atta Boateng, Out-going President of YAF said in 2006, the Fellowship was only at the main Emmanuel Presbyterian Church at Odomase, but through hard work, together with the other executives, it had established four other units at Trinity, Nyameani, Kwatire and Adantia in the District.

A six-member executive committee for the period 2014-2018 was elected.

The committee is made of Mr. Yaw Yeboah, President, Mr. Seth Ansu Kumi, Vice-President, Mr. Solomon Ofosuhene, Secretary, Mr. Rexford Essandor, Assistant Secretary, Mrs. Stella Oduro, Financial Secretary and Mr. Emmanuel Obeng, Organising Secretary.
