The Royal Gate Worship Centre will soon construct a school and a hospital at Amrahia near Madina in the Greater-Accra Region.

The projects which would be financed through voluntary contributions and fund-raising activities, will cater for the educational and health needs of the poor and the needy in the community.

Reverend Jonathan Ameyaw Morton, General Overseer of the Church, announced this at the opening of this year’s conference of the Church at Amrahia on Thursday.

The week-long Conference dubbed ‘’RIG 2014, ’’ is on the theme ‘’Time for Upliftment.’’

It is aimed at praying for unity, peace and the stability of the nation, and also the spiritual upliftment of the participants.

Rev. Morton said the church has also established a Foundation to assist Orphanage Homes.

He urged Ghanaians to join the crusade of offering assistance to the needy in society.

The General Overseer urged them to observe environmental cleanliness, which he said, was the surest way of eradicating diseases.

Rev. Morton appealed to religious leaders to desist from acts which may tarnish the image of the clergy.

He tasked drivers to observe road signs, and to also desist from driving under the influence of alcohol, to ensure an accident-free Christmas.
