Agona Ahenkwaa(C/R), Feb 2, GNA - Prophet David Nkansah, Head Prophet of the African Faith Terbanacle Church, has advised Ghanaians to co-exist peacefully with each other this election year.

He said by tolerating and respecting divergent views, especial on national issues, Ghanaians would be doing a great service to the nation to make it "a haven for peace and stability".

Speaking when he dedicated a new church building at Agona Ahenkwaa near Kwanyako in the Central Region, he urged politicians to do away with divisive tendencies and to ensure that their campaign messages were devoid of rancour, bickering and insults.

The Head Prophet called on the youth to lead morally good lives to grow into responsible adults.

Nana Ampim Darko V, Chief of Kwanyako, commended Nana Otwasa Larbi, Chief of Ahenkwaa, who solely financed the project. Nana Darko who is also the Kyidomhene of the Agona Nyakrom Traditional Area, urged other public-spirited individuals in the area to initiate similar projects to help improve the living standards of the people.

Nana Larbi, who is a member of the Church, said he was inspired by the desire to ensure that the Church had permanent structures in the town.

Mr John Kwesi Agyabeng, Agona District Chief Executive, reminded parents that the only legacy they could bequeath to their children was formal education to enable them to take their rightful positions in society in future.

Special prayers were said for the nation.
