He said electricity supply had been extended to the school to facilitate the pupils evening studies and the school had also purchased a set of cultural drums, a set of jerseys, two footballs, an inflator and quantities of English reading textbooks to improve effective teaching and learning.

As its contribution towards the President's Special Initiative (PSI) on cassava starch production, Mr Osei-Abayie said the school had cultivated one hectare of cassava farm to freely distribute the sticks to interested farmers.

Mr Mensah said the provision of adequate and decent teachers' living accommodation was the prime concern of the residents and appealed to the assembly to assist the community to complete the project on schedule.
