Kumasi, May 7, GNA - Readwide Books Limited on Thursday donated assorted law books worth 100 million cedis to the Faculty of Law of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Kumasi. The donation was in fulfilment of a pledge made by the company during the inauguration of the faculty early this year.

Among the books were law dictionaries, legal research guides, stone justice manuals, law and medical practice, property law, law of Toirs, Tort laws, medical law, Tory's yellow and orange tax hand books 2003-2004 and interpretation of statutes.

Presenting the books, Mrs Ansah Asare, Director of the company, said it was the aim of the company to promote quality education in the country.

She said the company would continue to associate itself with the Law Faculty of KNUST to improve its library to ensure sound academic work.

Reverend Professor E.H. Ofori Amankwa, Dean of the faculty, thanked the management of the company for the gesture. He said the books would go a long way to enhance teaching and learning at the faculty and appealed to other individuals and organisations to emulate the example of Readwide Books and assist the faculty.
