The Omanhene of Oguaa Traditional Council, Osabarima Kwesi Atta II has denied media reports that he claimed there are no lands in the area for the one district, one factory project being rolled out by government

According to the Omanhene, nowhere did he mention land during his speech at the Fetu Afahye durbar grounds, observing that the reporter who peddled the falsehood has a clandestine agenda to disgrace him.

At a media encounter to set the records straight at his palace, he urged the media across the region to be careful of their reportage and stop attributing him to things he has not said.

He called on media house that claimed he said there are no lands for the one district, one factory project to immediately retract and apologise for lying or he would refer the matter to his lawyers for the necessary action to be taken against them.

Osabarima Atta II further reiterated that he and his sub chiefs really embrace President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo’s one district, one factory policy to boost economic activities in the area.

According him, Oguaa Traditional Council has fully prepared lands for the project; hence his outfit has already shown the lands for the project to the management of CEDCOM assuring government that his doors are always open to investors who are willing to set up in the area.
