The Festival, which was under the theme, "Together we can build", was also marked with activities including clean-up exercise, youth socialisation and fundraising.

Basake is a farming community within the Ellembelle District of the Western Region with the population of about 1500.

The women activist made a cash donation of 2,000 Ghana Cedis to support the completion of an abandoned toilet facility which was started a few years ago due to insufficient funds to complete the facility.
