The Queen mother of Bechem Traditional Council in the Brong-Ahafo Region, Nana Adwoa Poh Dwamena (II) has given the leader of Faith Prayer Ministry International, Prophet Emmanuel a 24-hour ultimatum to park out of the town or incur her wrath and that of members of the community.

According to the Queen mother, the self-acclaimed man of God is no longer needed in the community because “he has been engaging in giving false prophecies which is creating tension in the community.”

The self-acclaimed man of God was nearly lynched on Thursday, May 10, 2018 by the angry youth of the town but for the timely intervention of the Queen Mother who saved the situation.

Speaking on Accra-based Oman FM monitored by MyNewsGH.com Nana Adwoa Dwamena II said: “Just this morning I was in Kumasi when I received a distressed call from some people in the community that I should come immediately because there is a serious problem in the area so l left to this place.

“When I arrived I saw the people wielding different kinds of weapons so I enquired from them what was happening and to my surprise they said prophet Emmanuel had said witches in the area were going to hold a conference in Goaso so he was going to pray to ensure that they fall when they are flying to Bechem at a particular spot so they had gathered to see what was going to happen,” she explained.

She continued that “I called him on phone to find out from him what the exact issue was and he confirmed to me that God had revealed to him that witches were going to gather in Bechem so he wants to stop them. I challenged him to give me proof and to my surprise, we got to know that the self-acclaimed man God had conspired with some people to go to Bechem Nkwanta to plant pigeons, crows and some vultures with some strange things tied to them to deceive members of the community that they are the fallen witches. And God being so good the people who he contracted to go and plant those birds confirmed doing that.”

The self-acclaimed prophet who is said to have settled in Bechem barely a year ago goes on radio and gives wild prophecies with focus always on witches in Bechem.

The Queen mother who seems to be fed up with the antics of the prophet said “I have given him 24 hours to leave this place with his team. And he has agreed to leave. I don’t need him here, she added.

Nana Adwoa Dwamena indicated that she cannot guarantee his safety looking at the scheme of things hence the need for him to leave the community.
