Farouk Aliu Mahama gets water project for Yendi SHS

A philanthropist and son of the late Vice President of Ghana, Alhaji Aliu Mahama, Alhaji Farouk Aliu Mahama has donated an amount of Ten Thousand Ghana Cedis (GHc 10,000.00) to the Yendi Senior High School.

The donate was done through the Dagbon Forum -Yendi Chapter for the commencement of a water project at the school.

Students of the Yendi Senior High School has been suffering from perennial water crisis which is affecting teaching and learning in the school.

The donation by the former Veep Aliu Mahama's son who is also a member of the Dagbon Forum (DF) will go a long way to solve the water crisis in the school.

The water project by the Dagbon Forum (DF) follows a meeting with the Ghana Water Company on a request made by the authorities of the school.

The donation made by Alhaji Faruok Aliu Mahama forms part of his plans to solve the water crisis in the Yendi Municipality.

The young entrepreneur and philanthropist has been supporting youth development in the area.

Authorities of the school thanked Alhaji Faruok Aliu Mahama and the Dagbon Forum (DF) for the donation, saying that, the donation will help immensely towards the school's water project.

The project when commenced will be monitored by Dagbon Forum (DF)- Yendi Chapter and the Yendi Municipal Assembly.
