Nana Otutu Obrempong Kumah ll says he will destroy those plotting against him
The chief of Atweasim in the Akuapim South District of the Eastern Region, Nana Otutu Obrempong Kumah ll, has threatened to deal with some of his subjects who are plotting against him.
He said he is prepared to crush them if they do not desist from their actions.
Nana Otutu Obrempong Kumah ll told Chief Jerry Forson on Ghana Yensom on Accra 100.5FM Friday, 22 June that his subjects are plotting against him because he has thwarted their plans of selling lands belonging to the traditional authority.
To that end, he said they want to replace him with someone they can control.
He noted that these subjects are only interested in enriching themselves at the expense of the people by selling lands and other properties belonging to the traditional authority.
“Let me send this strong warning to them that I will meet them squarely and crush them if that is what they want.
“The development of this area is dear to me than their selfish interest, I won’t allow them to engage in selling the lands belonging to the authority.”
