Sissala Youth support coronavirus fight with PPE

The Sisssla Youth in the Sisssla East and West Districts have supported health facilities in the area with COVID-19 Personal protective equipment (PPE) as their contribution towards the fight against the pandemic.

The presentation was made possible through voluntary contributions through a WhatsApp Group 'Sissala Youth Forum ' and the 'Think Thank group', which received massive patronage for mobilisation of funds for procurement of the PPE.

The items donated included two Non-Contact Infrared Thermometer guns, 250 pieces of N95 Nose Mask, 500 pieces of hand gloves, 24 pieces of medium size alcohol-based hand sanitizers, and 20 gallons of liquid soap.

Dr Zakari Bukari who received the equipment on behalf of Mr Alex Bapula, the Sisssla East Municipal Health Director expressed gratitude for the support.

At Gwollu, the Health Director, Madam Cecilia Kakraba, and the Sissala West COVID-19 health team also received the equipment and expressed appreciative to youth for the gesture.

The President of the Sissala Youth Forum, Mr Yussif Napuna, handed over the equipment to both health facilities on behalf of the group and expressed the hope that the equipment would help solve some problems.
