  They accept all religions, and none, and vow secrecy at the threat of one's throat being cut and body dumped into the deep sea.
  
  Their loyalty to themselves means that a mason must never betray his fellow mason. This sworn loyalty often means that masons are favoured by their fellow masons over others. This favouritism leads to corruption.
  
  Christians have no business joining lodges. Their beliefs and practices are not in consonance with Christianity.

  Freemasonry is NOT a religion. Every man must believe in God in order to join. It is recommended that they be active in their Church/Religion of their choosing as long as it believes in a Supreme Being (God). The Catholic church should explain why they REALLY don't like Freemasonry. Remember Freemasons didn't burn people at the stake as the Catholic Church did in Europe and the Americas. Freemasons believe that every man is equal and that you should be honest when dealing with other people. Do your homework.

  As of 1983 under Pope John Paul II there is nothing in Catholic cannon law that specifically states excommunication. Pope John XXIII now a saint was a practicing Freemason, and so is Pope Francis.
