Women, systematically have forced themselves into the clergy and politics, largely because of their femininity and number in the new day.

That is not how Jesus set it. it is a contravention to the principles and the teachings of the new testament.

The power struggle in the church, amidst women trying to make their presence felt manning the pulpit since they form the majority of parishioners, the claim that one religion is better than the other, one that God approves of, infighting among members for 'clergical and clerical' positions in the church, by and large, tells the 'thinking mind' that, man, and not a God is in control of all worldly affairs.

What day is the Sabbath?

FYI:(1) The Jews have been observing the Sabbath from Friday sundown to Saturday sundown since time immemorial, and they still do so.

(2)The calendar starts on the first day of the week and ends on Saturday, Sabbath
(3) In the prophecy of the destruction of Jerusalem and the end of the world in Matthew 24, Jesus knew that the Sabbath will be observed long after he is gone so he warns that "But pray you that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the Sabbath day..."(Matthew 24:20).

Who changed the Sabbath?

I beg to differ with Mother Teiko. You see, important as obedience, humility, evangelization, and loving one another are in the Christian life, they are all works. In Christianity they are gifts which come as a result of accepting Jesus Christ as a personal savior from sin.

What the sinner needs is Christ. He is the biblically accepted sin bearer.
who will give the sinner freedom from the penalty of sin (justification), his tile to heaven.

"Therefore being justified (declared not guilty) by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: By whom also we have access by faith into this grace (unmerited favor) in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God" (Romans 5:1-2).

Next is sanctification (becoming like Christ everyday) a life-time learning process in holiness (See Matthew 11:29), the only Godlikeness acceptable to God, which was determined by him before the creation of the world to give the believer the power over sin. This training in holiness is by the Spirit of God (see Gal 5:22) and it is the believer's fitness for heaven.

"For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God has before ordained that we should walk in them" (Ephesians 2:10).

"And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him (the devil), whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb (Christ) slain from the foundation of the world" (Revelation 13:8).

Next is glorification when Christ comes for his redeemed, and frees them from the presence of sin and death. FYI: Jesus is coming only for those who have his character.

"Behold, what manner of love the Father has bestowed upon us, that we should be called the children of God: therefore the world knows us not, because it knew him not. Beloved, now are we the children of God, and it does not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is" (1 John 3:1-2).

"Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is your sting? O grave, where is your victory?" (1 Corinthians 15:51-55).

Ohenba, observe the role of the Law in the believer's life. Remember no law, no sin! Adam and Eve did not escape the Law's condemnation when they sinned, neither will his descendants. What is sin?
"Whosoever commits sin transgresses also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law" (1 John 3:4).

Now we find that the Law keeps slipping into the picture to point the vast extent of sin. Yet, though sin is shown to be wide and deep, thank God his grace is wider and deeper still! The whole outlook changes - sin used to be the master of men and in the end handed them over to death: now grace is the ruling factor, with righteousness as its purpose and its end the bringing of men to the eternal life of God through Jesus Christ our Lord.( 5:20-21, Phillips).

Please note that in Galatians the Ceremonial laws such as circumcision which the Judaizers wanted the gentle believers to follow was what Paul spoke against, not the Ten Commandments.

FYI: God's Word speaks of two great Laws. Law Number 1 is the Law of God (the Ten Commandments, or Two tablets of the Testimony,) also known as the Moral law and the Decalogue. Law Number 2 is the Law of Moses (the “Book of the Law,” or “Book of the Covenant”), also known as the Mosaic Law, the Ordinances and the Ceremonial Law. Is there a relationship between these two laws? Absolutely. If an Israelite sinned, he broke Law Number 1, the Moral Law of the Ten Commandments. He then had to bring his offering according to Law Number 2, the Sacrificial Law to receive forgiveness. This is the relationship between these two laws. Law Number 1 defines sin, as sin is the transgression of the Moral Law, the Ten Commandments (1 John 3:4). Law Number 2 defined sacrifices which was the remedy for sin.

Importance of the law
God could have changed the law when Adam and Eve sinned. Instead he revealed the Covenant Of Grace (New Covenant, his plan of salvation in Christ, the Lamb) to them.
"...Lamb slain from the foundation of the world" (Revelation 13:8).

Christ, our elder brother came to our world, and showed us by example how we can keep his commandments.

"If you keep my commandments, you shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love" (John 15:10)

A faith in God which frees us from the penalty, and power of sin is nothing short of presumption.

"For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled" (Matthew 5:18).

In the prophecy of the destruction of Jerusalem and the world, Jesus knew that the Sabbath (part of The law) will be kept during the period preceding the destruction of Jerusalem, and beyond to the end of the world.

"But pray you that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the Sabbath day" (Matthew 24:20}.

The Sabbath will be kept in heaven.

"For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, says the LORD, so shall your descendants and your name remain. And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, says the LORD" (Isaiah 66:22-23).

Remember to keep the Sabbath day to keep it holy.

I would however beg to differ as we need to look at what the whole Bible says in context and not how a few verses explain such a situation. Up until Christ died and rose again, the Israelites were still under the ordinances of the old covenant (which i need not explain cos you probably know more than i do). They had to live by the law and it should be noted that they could not even observe it cos breaking one meant breaking all the laws...Talk about the ten commandments and you will see that as soon as we start from the first commandment, we realize that we have broken that commandment which talks about having no other gods apart from YHWH...which one of us have not and is not worshipping other gods (be it ourself, money, what we have in material things and what we think we are because we did it by our own efforts) apart from YHWH....these laws were put in place by God so we have a sense of what sin is....However, the word of God is inerrant and covers not just the times that Moses and other prophets lived, but it is also profitable for us now...this means that we need to apply them to our lives now...We are however living in the new covenant and most of our worship is based on how the early church worshipped...Did Jesus sin when he broke the sabbath law by breaking and eating corns in the field with his disciples?....We are thus free to worship God on a day that we choose to worship HIM....If we are to worship him on a saturday, THEN I THINK WE CHRISTIANS NEED TO WORK SIX DAYS IN A WEEK COS THAT IS WHAT HIS COMMANDMENT TELLS US TO DO....MAY HE ILLUMINATE OUR EYES SO WE KNOW HOW TO WORSHIP HIM IN TRUTH AND IN SPIRIT AND NOT JUST BY THE LETTER...BLESS YOU SATU.....

Christmas day, which is the 25th day of December in every year has been chosen by most christians to celebrate the birthday of Jesus Christ of Nazareth (though disputable by some school of thought). On this day we make merry believing that the Saviour of the world been born for us.

We celebrate Easter as a memorial of the suffering that Jesus endured on the Cross as a sacrificial lamb for our sins to put us right with God.
