Can a government that can't afford to pay nurses, teachers, can't provide water & electricity..(the list is endless, how much time have you got?)... are those suffering also not citizens of Ghana that deserve an equal measure of recourses?
Other faiths also have special needs, so will the Government asphalt the roads leading to a church for health & safety reasons?
My argument is if you have money to go to Mecca but no money to buy face mask for your own health & safety, they stay put.
If you call this "HATRED" then I am sorry you've missed the point, because I am doing the exact opposite.

The government's only roll is to provide advisory warning, the rest is left to the clods. The government must not provide anything to anyone, besides the NHIS does not cover facial masks for religious purposes. Not even Iran ...

The Govt has more and better to do for the millions and millions Ghanaians than to provide masks to indoctrinated people who are even more extremist than those who brought their religion in Africa.

These Muslims know that the mecca is currently infected by that dangerous virus but still they want to go there. Is that reasonable? Isn't that what God himself called suicide? You know there is a death there but you want to go and test the death!!!

I am a Muslim but I am saying that the Govt of Ghana should not get involved in this. Let the Muslims give money for the Govt to provide them with the masks. If Saudi arabia can give 5 billions to Egypt to address his econmic problems and Qatar almost the same, why on behalf of the solidarity that they claim should exist among Muslims they can't provide people with the simple masks?

Beside that when they come back from their Pilgrim the Govt shall put them on quarantine and make sure they are not sick and they won't contaminate anybody.

Apart from providing the masks and relevanty educatiion to the Ghanaian Ppilgrims, this matter brings up a very important question:"Is Ghana ready to deal with this disease on its own soil?". There is always a risk that the masks may fail to adequately protect the users/wearers and therefore a risk that an infected person will return home and spread it to the general population.
