  How much do government Ahmadis when they go on Pilgrimage to UK. The government dont pay them and they dont need it.
  If you cant afford to make a prilgrimage without help of government you are not a true with yourself. You can only make pilgrimage to anywhere if you can afford it. You dont beg for money or help to do it. Its not a must thing, if only you can.

  It is shocking to hear that a National Pilgrimage Board is to be set up by Government. In my candid opinion, Government should not get involved at all with pilgimages of citizens. Why should the government go to tahat extent to spend tax payers money to see to this venture of the individual?
  Please, we should not try to woo some group of people by using this line of action because it is morally wrong! We must leave the individual to arrange for his/her pilgrimage, period! We will protest vehemently should this suggestion become a reality? People undertake their pilgrimage every year and yet, we see how crime and corruption is endemic in our society. Mind you, I do not mean to single out any one particular religion but all religions whose members go on pilgimages. We should set our priorities right and stop this kind of trying to please some people because of political expediency.

  Separation of state and religion is the only solution.
  Ghana is going down the drain.
  God/Allah must be laughing at this nonsense. Ghanaians must start working ha, stop corruption
  and stop using religion as a job.

The President by this action, pre-empt what we were planning to do for the entire Northern and Upper Regions. Most of us were opting for a separate Hajj comittee to cater for our needs. Exploiting our people have taken place for a long time.

  If the President in his own wisdom wants to establish National Pilgrimage Board then certain name(s) should also be changed to reflect a national identity. For instance, the Hajj Villages should be changed to Pilgrimage Villages to pave the way for members of other faiths to use them as and when need be.
