EXPERIENCE IN LIFE HAS SHOWN US THAT WHEN A PERSON'S HEART FAILS HE/SHE CEASES TO EXIST.

THE BELIEF THAT THERE IS LIFE AFTER DEATH HAS BEEN USED AS AN INSTRUMENT TO EXPLOIT US AND WE CONTINUE TO SUBJECT OURSELVES TO EXPLOITATION BY BELIEVING IN IT.

REMEMBER THAT "BELIEF" DOES NOT MEAN "TRUTH".

In all of creation God's love for man has no parallels; it is the most common theme in the Bible. His desire to free man from the experiential and tyrannical knowledge of sin was the very reason he sent his son to come and live and die for us as our representative and mediator. Has this love ever been repeated anywhere else in the universe?

This love manifests itself in the covenant of grace, the main distinguishing feature in Christianity (from the religions of the world which use their works to obtain God's favor).

"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us"
(Romans 5:8).

All animal sacrifices from Adam's time to those of ancient Israel pointed to Jesus, "the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world" (Revelation 13:8b). Had Jesus failed even in one point, he would have failed as God's perfect Sacrifice and man's fit representative and mediator.

We may choose to get emotionally high by waxing lyrics of God's eternal love all day long, but is this a viable option for the child of God?

"God is love" (1John 4:8) and he expects us to respond to his love.

God's love is seen in his law, the transcript of his character.

"For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous"
(1 John 5:3).

"If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love" (John 15:10).

God's children will keep all his commandments (including the Sabbath) even during severe persecution by the antichrist during the last days of earth's history.

"And the dragon (Satan) was wroth with the woman (God's true church), and went to make war with the remnant of her seed (God's remnant church), which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ" (Revelation 12:17).

What will happens in the last days when we respond to God's love?

"And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death" (Revelation 12:11).
