  Inspiration of God; God directed the men who wrote it what to write, and how to write it, that as a rule of faith and practice for men it might be perfect. For doctrine; the communication of instruction. For reproof; to show men their sins. For correction; to reclaim them. For instruction; in what is right, and the presentation of the highest and best motives to induce men to do it. As all Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and like its author is perfect, and as it tends to make perfect all who believe and obey it, it should with the least possible delay be put into the hands of all people.

  History tells it that, many popes and their Roman emperors banned the Bible from being read publicly. If they now know the Bible is the manual of life, they should come out and confess to mankind for persecuting people in the post apostolic era. They should indeed make the Bible their first book not any catholic manual or catechism.

FOR THE CATHOLIC CHURCH, THE BIBLE IS THE INSPIRED WORD OF GOD.THE CATHOLIC BIBLE HAS 72 BOOKS: OT= 45 BOOKS, NT= 27 BOOKS. FOR THE OLD TESTAMENT, THE JEWS REJECTED THE BOOKS WRITTEN OUTSIDE PALESTINE OR WRITTEN IN GREEK. THUS THE JEWS REJECTED 6 BOOKS AND THE PROTESTANTS WENT ALONG WITH THE JEWS AT THE TIME OF THE REFORMATION. THAT IS WHY THE PROTESTANTS HAVE 39 BOOKS FOR THE OT. THE JEWISH OR HEBREW BIBLE DOES NOT HAVE THE NEW TESTAMENT, BECAUSE THEY DO NOT ACCEPT JESUS AS THE MESSIAH, LORD AND SAVIOUR, SON OF GOD. SO THE PROTESTANT BIBLE HAS 39 BOOKS FOR THE OT AND 27 BOOKS FOR THE NT. IN THE PAST, THE CATHOLIC WANTED ONLY TRAINED PEOPLE TO TEACH THE BIBLE IN PUBLIC BECAUSE OF THE DANGERS OF PRIVATE INTERPRETATION OF THE BIBLE.TODAY THERE SO MANY CHRISTIAN CHURCHES BECAUSE EVERYBODY IS INTERPRETING THE BIBLE IN HIS OR HER OWN WAY. PROTESTANTS BELIEVE IN INDIVIDUAL INTERPRETATION OF THE BIBLE, BUT CATHOLICS BELIEVE IN COMMUNITY INTERPRETATION OF THE BIBLE.THE CATHOLIC CHURCH PRESERVED THE BIBLE DURING THE PERSECUTION OF THE EARLY CHRISTIANS. ST. AUGUSTINE AND OTHERS PUT THE BOOKS OF THE BIBLE TOGETHER AS THE INSPIRED WORD OF GOD.IN THE CATHOLIC CHURCH, WE ARE TAUGHT THE EVEN IF THE POPE AND THE BISHOPS TEACH ANYTHING WHICH IS CONTRARY TO WHAT IS IN THE BIBLE, THEN WE DO NOT HAVE ANY OBLIGATION TO ACCEPT IT. WE ONLY ACCEPT WHAT THE POPE AND THE BISHOPS TEACH IN SO FAR AS IT IS LINE WITH WHAT IS IN THE BIBLE. CATHOLICS FOLLOW ONLY JESUS CHRIST. THE POPE AND THE BISHOPS ARE THERE TO HELP US AS ALL OF US FOLLOW JESUS CHRIST, OUR LORD AND SAVIOUR.
