TB Joshua would be horrified at what you have written here. TB Joshua will not be with us forever. Paul too was rejected by the world- was he the comforter then? TB Joshua will tell you that all the good and miraculous he does is by God's Spirit, not his own abilities. Therefore it is the Spirit that is the comforter. The Spirit is the one converting, healing, delivering and saving. Men are just His instruments. TB Joshua is a faithful instrument that the comforter uses mightily.

Readers should be aware that this article is not from SCOAN, and the claims are not from the official position of the Ministry.

I fully support the Ministry, even though I am not a registered member, yet, of the Ministry.

The writer of this article needs to be corrected, without delay, to avoid polluting the minds of many.

Prophets of God have always wrought mighty deeds in humility, wisdom, power etc. This is because they operate in the Spirit, and they have the full backing from God. They speak the mind of God, concerning situations
and whatever they proclaim come to pass, all to the glory of God.

Infact, the Prophecies in the Bible were prophesied, all by the aunction of the Holy Spirit, and what inspires prophesying is to the bearing witness to Christ Jesus. Exopressed in another way, the spirit of Prophecy is to the testifying of Christ Jesus.

Christ Jesus is the Son of God who came down from heaven as sacrifice for humanity. He is the WORD of God who became flesh. Creation came into existence from God through Him(Christ). There was nothing that was created without him.

The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God. It is the executive power of God through which God functions to his own Glory.

Everything God does is by means of his WORD and the Power of his Spirit.

When Heaven and Earth was created, the Earth was without form and void and darkness was upon the face of the deep. Then the Spirit of God beagan to move .... Eventually God spoke after the move of his Spirit, and things were ordered by the WORD.

The WORD of God functions effectively in the realm of the Spirit. Infact, things done in the flesh are not pleasing to God. God is a Spirit and they that worship him, must do so in spirit and in truth.

Christ forbade his disciples not to go out UNTIL the receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. Without the Holy Spirit, they will just be telling stories. The apostles and other believers needed the power of the Holy Spirit to proclaim the Gospel. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Truth which the world do not Know. In Acts Chapter 2 the Spirit of God came and empowered the believers to preach Christ, as Christ promised before his ascension. 3000 gave their lifes to Christ. That was when the Church was innaugurated, and many nationals who had gathered in Jerusalem bore testimony to the miracles of God, for the tongues that were spoken bore witness of Christ to those foregners from all the continents in the world(Read Acts 2)

Jesus says of the Holy Spirit thus "The world do not believe in me,and the Holy Spirit will convicts them of sins, righteousness and judgment". The Holy Spirit is also the Spirit of Truth that Jesus talked about. God has so mandaded that even though his gifts are free, they are not cheap and they are not to be cheapened. That is why it requires that you a Christian prepares himself/herself spiritually through fasting(unto the Lord) and prayers(in the name of Christ) from time to time, to be sharpened to be used effectively by God.

Further, the coming of the Holy Spirit to empower the believers to proclaim the Gospel effectively meant that the believers cannot take credit for the things done through them, because they know that it by the spirit of God, and they are just instrument of God.

The Holy Spirit is the other Counsellor who would be with believers in Christ, always.

The Holy Spirit also reminds the believers of the things thought by Christ (WORD of God). The Holy Spirit guides us into understanding the WORD of God.

Infact it is by means of the Spirit that God offers gift to individuals in the Church for the edification(strenthening) of the Church.

Pastorial gift, gift of teaching, Evanlesing, Apostles, Prophets.
Healing and Deliverance etc form an integral part of these gifts.

In all these, no man takes the credit.

All things ought to be done in the name of Jesus Christ, for God glofifies himself in Christ.

In the Church, the Holy Spirit points to Christ, directing the sinner or us to him, so that we may go to him. Jesus said the Holy Spirit of God will not speak of himself, but will speak of Christ.

The Baptismal formular is in the NAME of Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Notes that NOT in the NAMES, in the NAME. One name, the name given under the heavens that we might be saved. Jesus came in the name of his Father, the name of that his Father gave him.

In conclusion, if someone has told you that the Holy Spirit is ascribed to a mortal human being then you have been deceived, big time.

You can recoil from this deception by repenting and asking God for forgiveness.

Let us NOT darken counsel with words, without knowledge!

Prophet TB Joshau is a humble servant of God. God has given him the grace to operate in the way that he is operating according to the measure of Faith given him, and we must respect him as such.

No human should be likened to the Holy Spirit!

It is all by the grace of God. And to God be the Glory.

Try to prayerfully read a verse(s) everday before going out and before going to bed. Do so prayerfully, and medidate on the WORD. You would be stregthened always as you do so. It is also one of the ways to keep your eyes nad mind set on the things of God, and share what you read with others; engage yourself in spiritual discussions, for it is an antedote against the tricks of the enemy, and not to defile youself with gossip, idle talks, politics of the day etc(PSALM 1:1-3)

So the Comforter is not T.B. Joshua. What about Mohammed? Islam says he is the Comforter.

No. The Comforter is not a human being, he is The Holy Spirit, the third person of The Trinity.

Jesus knew it was better for man that he be crucified, for then is salvation and repentance and he will no longer be bound to body but Jesus christ would be in spirit. He is that comforter. Are you saying that before TB Joshua was born that there was no comforter...did he promise only one generation a comforter? No. The comforter had to be in spirit for spirit can never die and is not limited to time or space. It is a great error to raise a man to be equal with Jesus. I know of other prophets whose prophesies have all come true and have done so much good for man kind but I can not say that one prophet is the great comforter sent to comfort us all. God is perfect and man is corrupt for there are none without sin all have fallen short of the glory of God. Even John the Baptist said "He must increase and I must decrease." The great comforter is not just one flesh and blood man...I have never met this man so has he ever comforted me? No...A single prophet will never be able to comfort all man for he is not spirit. If the great comforter was one flesh and blood man we would be a people most miserable. Repent and learn, study out this thing. I mean REALLY study, seek and he will reveal it to you. I will not say it all, but God will show you all things if you put your trust in him and not in man. Now from what I know TB Joshua is doing a great ministry but no man should ever become puffed up by others for in that day every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. May the Lord God bless you with knowledge and understanding and may his hand be upon you and TB Joshuas ministry alway. Amen.

Jesus Christ clearly described the Comforter in that Book of John 14:15-17, 26. The Comforter is none other than the Holy Spirit. It would therefore be blasphemous to refer to Prophet T.B. Joshua as the Comforter. Anyone who has been following the ministry of Prophet T.B. Joshua have heard him say on many occasions that he is not the healer but he knows the Healer; His name is Jesus Christ.

I very much respect and recognise TB Joshua as a true prophet of God who is being used by the Comforter to do all the mighty works in this world. I also believe that the Spirit that abides in him is invisible and many would not accept Him as they do not know Him. It is the Spirit of God that operates in the Man of God that does all the wonders. In as much as the devil is spirit so is The Comforter for we fight against principalities and not flesh. TB Joshua will not be able to fight the devil in flesh except if he is being propelled by the SPIRITIUAL, which is the Comforter. NB: We may disagree with the Jehovah's Witnesses on some issues but its not on all isues that they are always wrong.
