And the Lord spoke to Noah: ''In six months I'm going to make it rain until the whole earth is covered with water and all the evil people are destroyed. But I want to save a few good people, and two of every kind of living thing on the planet. I am ordering you to build Me an Ark.''
And in a flash of lightning He delivered the specifications for an Ark.
''Okay," said Noah, trembling in fear and fumbling with the blueprints.
''Six months, and it starts to rain,'' thundered the Lord. ''You'd better have my Ark completed, or learn how to swim for a very long time.''
And six months passed. The skies began to cloud up and rain began to fall. The Lord saw that Noah was sitting in his front yard, weeping. And there was no Ark.

''Noah," shouted the Lord, "where is my Ark?'' A lightning bolt crashed into the ground next to Noah, for emphasis.
''Lord, please forgive me," begged Noah. "I did my best, but there were big problems. First I had to get a building permit for the Ark construction project, and your plans didn't meet code. So I had to hire an engineer to redraw the plans. Then I got into a big fight over whether or not the Ark needed a fire sprinkler system. My neighbors objected claiming I was violating zoning by building the Ark in my front yard, so I had to get a variance from the city planning commission.
Then I had a big problem getting enough wood for the Ark because there was a ban on cutting trees to save the spotted white Guinea fowls. Then the carpenters formed a union and went out on strike. I had to negotiate a settlement with the National Labor Relations Board before anyone would pick up a saw or a hammer. Now we got 16 carpenters going on the boat, and still no Guinea Fowls.
Then I started gathering up the animals, and got sued by an animal rights group. They objected to me taking only two of each kind. Just when I got the suit dismissed, EPA notified me that I couldn't complete the Ark without filing an environmental impact statement on your proposed flood.
Then the Army Corps of Engineers wanted a map of the proposed new flood plain. I sent them a globe. And the IRS has seized all my assets claiming I'm trying to avoid paying taxes by leaving the country, and I just got a notice from the state about owing some kind of use tax. I really don't think I can finish your Ark for at least another five years,'' Noah wailed.
The sky began to clear. The sun began to shine. A rainbow arched across the sky. Noah looked up and smiled.

''You mean you're not going to destroy the earth?'' Noah asked, hopefully.

''Wrong!'' thundered the Lord. ''But being Lord of the Universe has its advantages. I fully intend to smite the earth, but with something far worse than a flood. Something man invented himself.'' ''What's that?'' asked Noah. There was a long pause, and then the Lord spoke:
''Government.''

Next time they should be careful of the person they might be abusing, he might be the Lod God, Jesus Christ himself. I have to stand within the humiliation to fight, as I refused to coward like Jonah did.Moreso, we are in the era of the gospel, not the old testament, where salvation and faith was not known by words. Jesus Christ came to the scene and made these words love, faith hope, salvation and grace of the Lord, a known words to the world. Referencing these words to explain the actions of men of God who came earlier physically like Abraham.

Please i find this your statement wrong "....The Bible has it in Gen. 3 that God told them that they can eat the fruits from any tree in the garden except from the tree of life and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
The bible did not mention that they were also not to eat from the TREE OF LIFE as it is stated by you.

This is what is in the bible (Gen 2:9) when i cross check:
"...And out of the ground the Lord God made to spring up every tree that is pleasant to the sight and good for food. The tree of life was in the midst of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil". In Gen 2:17 it reads ".......but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it:for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die"
So from Gen 2:17 account they were NOT TO EAT FROM ONLY ONE TREE and that is the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. The tree of LIFE was there alright but NO account of restrictions mentioned in the chapter.

Christianity developed from the Jewish faith in the person and ministry of Jesus of Nazareth. The Christian religion, as with the ancient Greek religion, was first generated through the oral tradition. Jesus was believed to be the only Son of God by the early Christians, and this belief has endured in the modern Christian world. The Holy Bible, consisting of the Old and New Testament, is the basic scripture for Christians, and although Christianity and Greek Mythology are very distinct, they are similar in many interesting ways.
Three Major Ways Greek Mythology and Christianity are Similar

Although the gods and heroes of Ancient Greece are not worshiped today, this ancient religion is still comparable to modern Christianity. Greek mythology and Christianity are similar in that they: (1) teach a moral way of life; (2) teach that a woman (Pandora or Eve) caused the downfall of mankind; (3) and both have a savior figure. Although Greek mythology and Christianity are similar, they differ in their concept of sacrifice, punishment, and doctrine, and I will discuss this in a separate piece.

A Moral Way of Life

To begin, Greek mythology and Christianity are similar in that they both teach a moral way of life. Every myth in the ancient Greek culture was comprised to teach some sort of lesson. The story of Arachne illustrates how Christianity and the stories of Greek mythology are similar.

Arachne expressed extreme hubris or pride in her weaving abilities; excessive hubris was considered a very unfavorable quality to possess. Arachne believed her weaving abilities exceeded that of Athena's, the goddess of weaving, so she challenged her to a weaving contest. Although both wove flawlessly, the goddess's was by far the greater. Athena punished Arachne by turning her into a spider. The story of Arachne teaches against hubris.

Christianity and Greek mythology are similar because they both strive to teach society how to live a moral life. The Ten Commandments represent the main moral guidelines every Christian must try to follow. As an example of how they are similar, the Ten Commandments state that people should not kill or steal from one another. Also, Jesus used parables to teach moral lessons. He told a story of two men that went to the temple to pray. One man stood before God and thanked Him that he was not like the sinner praying next to him. The other man, the sinner, begged God to have mercy on him. He could not even bring himself to look towards heaven. This story teaches that God looks kindly on the humble man and harshly toward the lofty.

Pandora and Eve

Another way in which Greek mythology and Christianity are similar involves the downfall of mankind. In the Greek mythology and the Christian faith, a woman caused the demise of the world. According to mythology, Pandora was the first woman created. Upon her creation, each god and goddess gave her a gift. The gifts were put into a box, and she was told never to open it. Her curiosity overcame her, and she opened the box. Disease, famine and all sorts of evil was expelled into the world. The only positive thing that came out of the box was hope.

Christian doctrine depicts Eve as the "root of all evil." God commanded Adam and Eve not to eat the fruit from the forbidden tree. A serpent appeared to Eve and convinced her otherwise. She persuaded her husband, Adam, to eat of the fruit also and sin engulfed the world.

Both Religions Have a Savior

Finally, Greek mythology and Christianity are similar because both religions have a savior. Prometheus was mankind's savior according to the Greeks. His brother, Epimetheus, was given the task of distributing gifts to all the creatures of the world. Epimetheus handed all the great gifts to the animals, and none were left for mankind. Epimetheus asked his brother to help him. Prometheus gave man the gods' noble shape and the knowledge of fire. Zeus, believing this to be blasphemous to all the gods, punished Prometheus. Zeus chained him to a tall cliff and hungry birds would peck out his liver and eat it. Nightly, his liver would grow back and the same torture would be experienced the following day.

In contrast, the Christian savior is Jesus Christ. We believe He is the Son of God who was sent into the world to save mankind from eternal damnation. He taught people the true word of God and performed numerous miracles. His life and teaching is essentially recorded in the twenty-seven books of the New Testament with particular emphasis upon the four Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John). The center of the Christian doctrine stands on the Resurrection of Jesus.

Greek mythology and Christianity are similar because they are both very old religions, but only one, Christianity, has endured over time. The polytheism of ancient times seems almost ridiculous to today's standard monotheism. Although Greek mythology and Christianity are two very distinct religions, they are also similar, and these similarities are very interesting to those studying Christianity and the stories of Greek mythology.
