MCG, a hotel, high rise car park and a school complex? Not a bad idea, I would have preferred a hospital equipped with modern amenities to cater for teh northern half of the country. I do not know much about KATH, but with politics playing a part, these rampant strikes, beatings, still born babies getting missing, etc, we need a private Hospital funded by a Church like the MCG, to cater for the health needs of the good people of Ghana. Thanks for the space.

There is no different from how the asanthene makes his money from how the Churches make their money.
Its always people who has to give. These people are not allow to give to the poor but only thru Churches and Chiefs palaces ...

Asantehene is lastly talking too much. Why should a whole chief use an occasion like banking to be talking about what churches are doing. There is something not right, if the king think Churches are taking money from him, he should say it clearly.
We know repect their Church leaders more than they repect a King. Churches are places where the bishops and leaders are very good beggers. Where you have to give something before your prayer can be answered.
The more the churches the less the repect given to chievies and kings. Asantehene is fighting his corner. He is fighting it in a wrong place, the bank.
The bank managers love church leaders and the contribution the bring into the economy. If these churches dont do anything good, we can say at least they made our people fit by sing and dancing.
People dont dance for the king daily no more. Its a shame to the culture.

Consider building hospitals to treat chronic diseases like diabetes, prostate problems,hepatitis B, etc. for healthy society and more blessings from God; encourage those who claim to have discovered herbal drugs for these diseases by providing assistance and publicity for public patronage and trust in herbal medicine. Also, consider taking only one offertory (collection)in all church services throughout the whole country and stop "Kofi ne Amma" and other appeal for funds to encourage the poor in the society to attend church services regularly now that you have enough funds for such big project. Christ is risen indeed!

Therefore,it could have been better to have considered that,as well.
My cousin died of it in Ghana,just recently.KOBLA DUMOR,as well as SAM JONAH'S CHILD,died of the same.
They were all young guys.
IF YOUNG RESPONSIBLE,AFFLUENT AND DISCERNING GUYS,could die of such disease,how about the common man on the streets,in Ghana?
THEN THAT BUSINESS COULD HAVE BEEN MORE LUCRATIVE.

Nana, when did you become God to direct the finances of the church. The Bible has all it takes to direct the church as to how it should invest its monies. I don't blame you, but I blame those so-called pastors who have taking money from the poor members all in the name of tithing which thing belonged to the Levites and the descendants of Aaron. (Hebrew 7:4-13; Numbers 18:20-27; Nehemiah 10:30-36) David suggested and introduced drumming into the Judaism and God disapproved of it. The Bible wants the church which is sacred to be concerned with the sacred, and leave the secular things to the governments, the church must be more concerned with the spiritual. Turning to the secular has led the nation wallow in immorality, bribery and corruption. Nana, I respect you...but for this one, it is not yours to advice the church. It is the Bible instead.
