This is propaganda article to promote Christianity because for recent times the so-called atheists are putting up strong argument to make religion nonsense. So praising God this way is thought by the writer would encourage believers to counter the atheists. But what the atheists and some christians ask is, how does this knowledge put food on table for hungry God's people, provide shelter for God's people sleeping on trees like birds or lizards, cloth naked believers, security, stop social vices, etc. I mean improve society? Although we believe things like these but let's not pretend mere believe in things make us spirits who don't need human essentials to live as we still exist and have not died yet to enjoy our hope for eternity. If there is no guarantee for better life on this earth we know of, how can we be guaranteed of the next world we don't know about we just 'hear' of it?

I agree with you about the poor propagandist nature of this post. It doesn't really say much except tell us what the author believes.
The opposite approach is not an issue of "knowledge" because as you rightly state, this in itself is not sufficient. Rather it is about ways of thinking. When we get closer to seeing how the world really is and develop problem solving skills based around critical thinking, reason & logic, we are better able to mould our social conditions.
Moral questions are not the preserve of religions but are codes societies develop & are of concern to us all. Humanists maintain we need to develop ethical approaches and deal with the real conditions of our lives - this is not a waiting room.
