  It's true that Ghanaians are spiritual and this has to be considered in the treatment process. The inhumane treatment of these mentally disturbed is the concer. I am a trained Clinical Chaplain in the United States and have worked as a Chaplain at a psychiatric dept and currently working as a chaplain. I believe some patient respond to spiritual intervention but the pastors need to be trained and work with the doctors.
